As Black Swan continues to grow, we are looking for customer sales associates to join our mission of serving the community by keeping them warm and cozy.
Job Description
- Pay Scale to start ranges from $11 to $14 per hour, and will be determined based on the work experience a candidate brings.
- We work 10am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 10 to 4 and are closed on Sundays.
- This is a part time position. and various shift hours are available. However, Saturdays are required, but only on a rotating basis, ensuring staff can have some weekends for themselves.
- Greeting visitors to our showroom
- Assisting customers to find the home decor and accessories they are looking for
- Acquiring the ability to learn our industry inventory
- Using our company check out computer software to help customers pay for their items and answer their questions.
- Answering phones to assist customers.
- Routine showroom maintenance tasks
- Become a team member by assisting with on-going projects and tasks
- Answer phones and assist customers with their needs.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the store
We’re Looking For
- Previous retail or consultative sales experience in the home improvement space
- Comfort with computers, tablets, and CRM software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in learning about hearth products and home design
- Availability to work some Saturdays (especially in peak fall/winter seasons)
