Fireplace Transformations Completed

Black Swan has the in house team that will be able to create the fireplace of your dreams.  Below you will see some of our latest projects completed within the last month or so.

Gas Fireplace- Heat N Glo 8000, Monroe

Picture 1:  Customer had a pre-existing gas fireplace that they wanted to remove and replace with an efficient gas fireplace.  They also wanted to replace their mantle and hearth with something more modern and finish up with stone.    

Picture 2: Black Swan removed the gas fireplace and sheetrock, exposing the framing and venting.   

Picture 3: New gas fireplace was installed with proper venting.  Stone work completed including the beam mantle, and hearth for a finished project.

 

Wood Fireplace- Pioneer II, Redding

Photo 1:  Customer had a pre-existing wood fireplace that they wanted to remove and replace with an efficient wood fireplace.  They also wanted to update the look of their fireplace with stone, wood trim and a beam mantle.

Photo 2: Black Swan removed the wood fireplace and surrounding wood planking exposing the framing and venting.   

Photo 3: New wood fireplace was installed with proper venting.  Stone work completed including the wood trim and beam mantle for a finished project.

 

Gas Fireplace-  Heat N Glo 8000, Danbury

Customer had a blank wall onto which they wanted to install a gas fireplace.

Picture 1: Framing was completed to accept fireplace unit, and venting was installed.       

Picture 2: Insulation and sheetrock completed behind unit as per building code. 

Picture 3: Stone work was completed and a wood mantel was put in place.    

 

Fireplace update-  New mantle and hearth, Trumbull

Customer wanted to give her masonry fireplace an updated look with a new beam mantle, trim and bluestone hearth. 

Picture 1: Removed old mantle and tile hearth

Picture 2: Installed new wood beam mantle and trim around sides of fireplace.  Final step was adding the bluestone hearth.
