This is the 2nd gasket kit I’ve purchased, in approx. 10 years. I was appreciative that it came with a contents list & some instructions. I wish the instructions would have mentioned the gaskets should be somewhat pulled (stretched), when installing. I didn’t & I came up a little shy on material & had to purchase more.

The gaskets were exactly what I needed for my 30 y/o Vermont Castings stove, and the best price by far that I could find. My only gripe is with the Rutland gasket cement. It is required to knead the tube to get a consistent mixture of the cement, but the way the tube is filled makes this all but impossible. this leads to an inconsistent product flow. Once I used about 20% of the tube, I could do a much better job of kneading the cement mixture and it flowed much better. The problem is with Rutland, not Black Swan.
